Ben Hogan Riviera wedges were developed to address all types of shots and conditions demanded in every day play. Materials, finishes, shapes, lofts, bounce angles, and sole grinds have been established in multiple combinations to address a wide variety of course, sand, soil, and turf. No matter where you play, or how many wedges you prefer to carry in your bag, Ben Hogan offers a selection that's right for you.
Models Available: 5008 Gap Wedge • 50° loft, 8° bounce: Fills the distance gap when the pitching wedge is too much club and the sand wedge will not deliver enough distance from the fairway. Provides additional options for greenside chipping & pitching 5208 Gap Wedge • 52° loft, 8° bounce: With slightly more loft than most Fairway wedges, the 5208 lands the ball softly on the green with more spin and less roll. Great for stopping the ball near tight pin placements from the fairway or rough 5412 Sand Wedge • 54° loft, 12° bounce: This 'strong' Sand Wedge provides for extra distance when needed from explosion shots but also works extremely well off tight fairways. The lower, penetrating ball flight is an asset in windy conditions 5612 Sand Wedge • 56° loft, 12° bounce: It works equally well in soft or firm sand bunkers, and is easy to play from all types of lies in and around the bunker. The greatest way to describe this wedge is "versatile" 5614 Sand Wedge • 56° loft, 14° bounce: A special "trailing edge grind" provides great shot making ability from all types of grass lies including tightly mown and hardpan lies. Sole design allows for shots to be played in all types of sand conditions 5810 Lob Wedge • 58° loft, 10° bounce: Designed primarily for high short shots from the fairway or rough around the green, the 5810 is also ideal for use from the sand on courses with very deep bunkers.6004 Lob Wedge • 60° loft, • 4° bounce: Works wonderfully in bunkers with firmer sand. Easy to play from even the tightest fairway or hardpan conditions.
